This project was initiated by Jiangxi Xialong Tungsten Industry Co., Ltd. in April 2022, and implemented by Jiangxi Tungsten Geological Exploration Company. With the joint cooperation of the Seventh Geological Brigade of Jiangxi Provincial Geological Bureau, the project team aimed to address the serious depletion of mining resources. After 19 months of joint research and development, the project team innovated the exploration method of combining tunnels and drilling，broke through the bottleneck of exploration methods, and overcame the difficult problem of exploring the morphological changes of quartz vein type black tungsten ore bodies. The newly added resources in the Zuobai mining area reached a medium-sized scale, and the service life of the mine was extended by more than 10 years, providing a reliable basis for the further mining certificate expansion of Xialong Tungsten Industry.
