Recently, Ganzhou Xinyu Mining and Metallurgy Co., Ltd. discovered a medium-sized deposit - tantalum niobium lithium ore in the south east of Yichun tantalum Niobium mining area, which has achieved a major breakthrough in the prospecting of tantalum niobium lithium ore in the Group company and the province.

It is understood that after nearly a year of scientific and technological research, the project team faced numerous difficulties and defied hardships, went deep into the continuous mountains, carefully sorted out prospecting clues, in-depth analysis of metallogenic laws, and finally successfully completed the periodic exploration task in the southeast region of Yichun tantalum niobium mining area. The amount of tantalum niobium resources discovered in this project will significantly extend the service life of the tantalum niobium mine in Yichun, with a potential economic value of more than 2 billion yuan, and the lithium resource reserves have reached a medium-sized deposit scale, which is not only of great significance for ensuring the sustainable economic development of China's lithium mining industry, but also lays the foundation for Yichun region to build the largest battery grade lithium carbonate production base in Asia.
